Cirque Du Soleil – Kurios

Cirque Du Soleil were recently in London and since my sisters have never been, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to catch a show! The production was running from January to March which I didn’t realise until now otherwise I would have gotten this post out sooner, however keep an eye out since they do have plans to return!

The shows running time is two hours and 10 minutes, including a 25-minute interval. Matinee performances begin at 11:30am, 3:00pm, and 3:30pm. Evening performances begin at 7:30pm and 8:00pm.

The Cirque du Soleil – Kurios entertainment show shines a light on the Victorian era, a time of great inventions and social developments. During the Victorian era, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone, electric lighting was becoming more common, and the general public began to travel on underground railways. But how could people discover new ideas? For one Seeker in Cirque du Soleil, it’s all about closing your eyes and finding a world of opportunity.

In the Seeker’s cabinet of curiosities, crazy ideas and grand dreams are waiting to be explored. Join the Seeker as they unearth new creatures and characters to unlock a wondrous future.

Cirque du Soleil began performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1997, and have staged 12 separate shows over the quarter century. Kurios marks a development in Cirque London shows — the Royal Albert Hall now boasts permanent steelworks in order to accommodate a larger variety of acts.

We had the best time and were thoroughly entranced by the whole performance, it was fun, creative and just a delight for the senses. I would highly recommend keeping an eye out for when it returns so you can grab tickets! Let me know what other shows you would recommend or want us to review.
