Is it still appropriate to say Happy New Year?!? It’s been a hot minute to say the least, anyway, I’m back and ready to bring you more fun suggestions and exciting content!

Kicking things off with a great staycation recommendation specially with all the bank holidays coming up. Over Christmas my sisters and I had the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Fairmont Hotel in Windsor Park where we had the most relaxing and luxurious experience. It has become a fast favourite for us due to the service we received as well as the vast amenities that were offered to us during our stay. Now, you know I’m not one to gate-keep however I was tempted with this one! Check out the details below and why it should be on the top of your staycation list!

The hotel is located on the outskirts of London on the edge of historic Windsor Great Park. Fairmont hotel is surrounded by 40 acres of open green space and a tranquil lake making it the ultimate escape from the city. The hotel is described as a beautiful, heartfelt retreat in the English countryside that blends iconic heritage with modern elegance. On one hand, Fairmont Windsor Park is a chance to enjoy the charms of grand, country house luxury. On the other, it is an opportunity to benefit from state-of-the-art facilities.

Upon our arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in quickly and efficiently. We were then taken up to our room which was clean, spacious and stunningly equipped with all modern amenities. We absolutely loved our room which faced the front courtyard, the decor was beautiful and minimal but with enough colour and texture to keep it interesting.

I would have to say my favourite part of our stay was the spa and wellness facilities, it was one of the nicest I have ever experienced. The facilities, spanning 2,500m², have been designed to bring together the relaxation of a luxury spa with state of the art innovation. It includes a fully equipped gym, 18 treatment rooms, including four wellness rooms, traditional Hammam, an indoor pool, thermal suite encompassing a sauna, steam room, cryotherapy, experience shower, heated tepidarium bench and Japanese foot bath as well as both light and deep relax and a salt room with views over the courtyard vitality pool.

As well as the above the hotel has some fantastic dining options which also made it stand out for us since you have everything you would want or need in one place. The restaurants and bars provide the perfect setting for those seeking an unrivalled dining experience, with a choice of several restaurants and bars, as well as private dining. From fine dining, afternoon tea, informal dining, and wellness café to exciting bars, this is truly a culinary destination. I will also add that Fairmont had the best continental breakfast options I have ever had the pleasure of trying.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel especially for an important occasion, Fairmont would provide the perfect backdrop to make a special moment that much more memorable, so go ahead and add it to the top of your staycation list!
