A little restaurant recommendation coming your way. We were recently at Westfield in Shepherds Bush and decided to start the day with a quick bite to eat. This spot has been on my list for a while and is locate across the road from Westfield so this was the perfect opportunity.

We arrived just before lunch on a weekday and it was fairly quiet. Although there is outdoor seating available we chose to sit indoors due to the heat. The service was quick and efficient, where the food and beverages came out shortly after ordering. I’ve listed what we ordered and enjoyed below:

• Rosemary Focaccia
• Popcorn Shrimp
• Salt & Pepper Squid
• Purple Sprouting Broccoli
• Fries
• Avocado & Eggs
• French Toast
• Fresh Juice

The food was good and we enjoyed it all however I did have one issue which was the items did not fully correspond with the descriptions on the menu. An example of this would be the avocado and eggs were meant to be served on Jalapeno Cornbread however it was served on an English Muffin. Therefore despite the food being good it was disappointing as we got something different to what we were expecting.

Anyway, I would definitely like to revisit to see if it was a one off because in all fairness we did have an overall pleasant experience. Let us know if you have visited Bluebird Cafe and what you thought in the comments below.
