This is for all you book lovers! I came across this bookshop on Instagram a long time ago but didn’t get the chance to visit until recently and let me tell you it was everything I had expected and more.

Daunt Books is a chain of bookshops in London, founded by James Daunt. It traditionally specialised in travel books. In 2010, it began publishing. Its initial Marylebone branch, opened in 1912, claims to be the first custom-built bookshop in the world.

They have several locations however we visited the most popular one in Marylebone which was honestly so pretty. Daunt Books is an original Edwardian bookshop with long oak galleries and graceful skylights. We spent ages browsing the floor to ceiling shelves, walking across the balcony and just immersing ourselves in the literature. They have a diverse selection of books whether you are looking for fiction or non-fiction as well as special collector editions of classics.

They also have a fantastic website where you can shop for books, gifts, bags, stationery, puzzles and more. They also offer a unique service of helping people build bespoke libraries of their own which is the ultimate goal for an avid reader!
