Pumpkin Patch: Perfect Autumn Activity

Autumn has come round super quick and usually I don’t look forward to the cold, short, gloomy days but this year I’m embracing it wholeheartedly! So, to get into the spirit, I wanted to visit a pumpkin patch. I try to go every year with my sisters and it’s always a fun day spent outdoors all wrapped up sipping on hot chocolate.

I came across Cammas Hall Fruit Farm near Bishops Stortford on instagram and I knew I had to come here. The farm is so quaint and currently decorated to autumnal perfection and to top it off they have a huge selection of pumpkins. It’s a great day out for the whole family, you can ‘pick your own’ fruit and vegetables, have tea in the barn, visit the farm shop or take a chance getting through the corn maize.

They require you to book a slot in advance, this is in line with government guidelines regarding Covid-19. Tickets cost £2 per person excluding booking fees. They are currently heavily booked with limited availability however the system is always being updated with new time slots so keep an eye out.

If you cant get tickets for Cammas Farm I have added a list of pumpkin patches below you could try:

  • The Patch MK
  • Foxes Farm Pumpkin Patch
  • Pumpkin Picking Village
  • Tulleys Pumpkin Farm
  • Crockford Bridge Pick Your Own Farm
  • Pumpkin Jims
  • The Pop Up Farm

Before visiting any of these locations make sure to check their website regarding availability and any rules they have in place for social distancing.

Stay safe.
