Another foodie rec coming your way, mostly because I have a backlog of restaurant posts from places I have visited and also because its spring so we’re all looking for new food spots as we venture back out, right?
I first went to Darwin Brasserie quite a few years ago for brunch but completely forgot about it until recently when I was at the Sky Garden. My sister and I decided to pop in for lunch since we were there and we had a lovely time.
Darwins is London’s highest rooftop brasserie overlooking the Thames on Level 36. It is a lively all-day dining location inspired by the very best of British. They have an extensive menu and serve breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner! The location itself is stunning coupled with the food it is a feast for the senses. Check out what we ordered below:
- Virgin Pina Colada
- Spiced Chickpea and Walnut Burger w/ Sweet Potato Fries
- Pumpkin Soup
- Fine green beans w/ shallot vinaigrette
- Fries
Please bear in mind that the menu does change depending on the time of year and what produce is in season, so some of the dishes we enjoyed may not be available. I did take a look at the most current lunch menu and I have already got my eye on a few dishes I would like to try next time I visit! The soup was my favourite dish, it was super flavourful and the perfect rich texture. I still can’t believe I’m a soup girly now! Anyway, I hope you get to visit Darwin and if you do, let us know what you thought, also leave recommendations on where we should go next!
