I am currently in my bookish era and one of my favourite things to do is find cool bookshops to visit. I popped into Maison Assouline last year and was blown away by this chic little spot located in Piccadilly, I knew I had to share the details for all of my book loving peeps. So, if you’re looking for a stunning bookshop that doubles as a bar/ cafe then you need to visit Maison Assouline on your next London day out!

A concept store for culture, founders Martine and Prosper Assouline created Maison Assouline as a refuge for those seeking style, culture, and art de vivre. The Maison Assouline London international flagship has served as an oasis of culture since 2014. The store is located inside a stunning Grade two listed building, in the heart of Piccadilly. Known worldwide for bringing luxury to the publishing industry, Assouline produces one-of-a-kind books on fashion, art, architecture, photography, design, and travel, weaving a story of L’Art de Vivre with every publication.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I am obsessed with photography and love it in its many forms especially travel photography. Maison Assouline have in my opinion the best travel photography books that not only look amazing but are filled with stunning pictures from around the world. I am absolutely resolved in collecting them all but they are quite pricey so it will definitely take me a while before they’re all gracing my shelves.
