Sketch has been on my foodie bucket list for a while so I was super excited when we made reservations for brunch. I’ll be honest, one of the main reasons I’ve been wanting to visit Sketch is the decor! They have beautifully decorated interiors which truly transport you to a world of whimsy.

The restaurant itself is made up of 5 separate rooms that are uniquely themed with their own food and drink menu. There is; The Parlour, The Lecture Room & Library, The Glade, The Gallery and The East Bar & Pods. We dined at The Glade, which in my opinion is the prettiest room at Sketch, it is also one of the most popular of their rooms. It was redone in 2017 in a mythical forest theme complete with plush carpet that looks like the forest floor! The walls are lined in beautiful wallpaper depicting trees with gold accents. This dining room is honestly breathtaking!

When we arrived we were taken to our table which was a cosy affair with velvet seats and dim lighting. The Glade boasts a small but diverse lunch menu during the day and cocktails at night with snacks to complement the drinks. As mentioned we visited for brunch and ate some delicious food which I have listed below:

• Tempura Eggs on Avocado Toast
• The Waffle w/ Seasonal Fruits
• Hash Brown
• Sauteed Portobello Mushrooms
• Simply Utopia Mocktail
• English Breakfast Tea

Everything we had was fantastic, the flavours of the dishes were well thought out, made with fresh ingredients especially the avocado toast which was truly unique topped with tempura eggs! My favourite item was the hash brown, you’re probably thinking what?!? But it was the nicest hash brown I have ever had and I still think about it daily!
