We were at Amazonico for my sisters birthday and were blown away by the food and service. I had very little expectations when we made the reservation however I can honestly say it has become a fast favourite.

Let me start by saying the vibes of this restaurant are elite! From the decor to the open kitchen, live music and ambient lighting it all comes together to create the perfect atmosphere for a special night. We were seated at the back in a cosy booth and I would highly recommend trying to get seated there as it is the prettiest spot in the place!

The menu is not super diverse which did make me a little nervous however with the help of our waiter I ordered dishes that would best suit our tastes. We ended up ordering quite a bit of food to share but actually finished everything which was a first! Check out below the list of food we sampled:

• Papas al Horno – Rosemary Roasted Potatoes
• Grilles Asparagus
• Prawn Tempura Roll
• Unagi Roll
• Aubergine Green Curry
• Jasmin Rice
• Spicy Grilled King Prawns & Broadbeans
• Peacock Mocktail

My favourite dish was the King Prawn with Rice, it was packed full of flavour and the prawns were huge! I would totally get that just for myself next time and not to share! At the end of the meal our server brought out a passionfruit and chocolate dessert plate with a candle whilst singing happy birthday which was the perfect ending to an amazing dinner. Price wise I feel like it is what you would expect from a nice restaurant in that area and I would say the food and service were worth it. I cannot say enough good things about Amzonico and would highly recommend it, particularly for a special event, I will be heading back very soon.
