Earlier this year I came across a video of Stag Lodges and knew it was where I wanted to spend my birthday. We booked a couple of days in August for the 4 of us and had a blast!

This place is literally a dream, nestled amongst the stunning views of the Chess Valley, Stag Lodges allows you to experience the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside with all the comforts of your own home but in a luxury, handcrafted wooden lodge, just a stone’s throw away from London.

Stag Lodges in my opinion are the top in countryside glamping, the main room welcomes you with a cozy open plan living area with comfortable seating, a master double bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. Each lodge has an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a further bedroom sleeping an additional 3 guests.

The outdoor seating area with gorgeous views over the Chess Valley allows you to experience cooking on an open firepit. Whether it is a full English breakfast or toasting those marshmallows, nothing brings you together better than sitting around a fire.

There are plenty of amenities to make your stay that much more enjoyable from the kitchen, the WIFI, smart TV, toiletries and breakfast hamper upon request. Our stay was utter perfection where comfort was at the forefront of our experience, we absolutely cannot wait to head back very soon.
