Coming to you with another restaurant recommendation even if it is just to make use of their air conditioning in this crazy heat! Don’t pretend the thought didn’t cross your mind.

Anyway, I stumbled upon this spot via TikTok and just had to check it out. Turns out, I’m glad that I did since both the food and service surpassed my expectations. It was just the 2 of us eating so we didn’t get the chance to try as many dishes as we wanted but what we did try was fantastic. We had a lovely waitress who explained the menu and recommended dishes which helped us narrow down our options. Check out what we ate below:

• Chicken Katsu Udon
• King Prawn Chilli
• Original Crispy Wings
• Soft Shell Crap Bao Bun
• Boneless Sweet Chilli Chicken
• Spicy Calamari
• Pickled Radish

The service was quick and efficient, our food arrived piping hot and beautifully served. The portion sizes were very generous and we ended up having it packed to take back with us since we couldn’t finish it all. My favourite dish out of the above would have to be the King Prawn Chilli, they used giant prawns that were super crisp and seasoned to perfection! The food was flavourful and we enjoyed all the dishes although the Bao Bun could have done with a little more sauce. To conclude, I would for sure recommend Kimchee and I will definitely be heading back to try more of their dishes including the Korean BBQ.
