NYC – Top 10 Things To Do

This is the final post in the New York series which makes me so sad BUT we have some exciting travel content coming soon so keep an eye out for that!

I’m going to preface this post by saying that below is a list of places we visited, where we had the most fun therefore in OUR OPINION is top 10, feel free to disagree and leave suggestions of your favourites below!

F.Y.I – If you’re looking for the best views of the city I have another post all about that, which you can check out by clicking here. I also have another post from my trip back in 2016 that lists a bunch of popular attractions and places to visit, which you can check out by clicking here.

Right moving on to the fun part!

CENTRAL PARK – Starting off strong with this iconic location. You cannot leave New York without visiting the park, it is huge so be prepared to walk!

BROOKLYN BRIDGE – The views of Manhattan from the bridge are amazing and the photo ops are endless.

TIMES SQUARE – Is the definition of ‘Bright Lights Big City’! But be prepared for large crowds and for there to be so much as well as nothing happening at the same time!

FRIENDS BUILDING – I have never met someone who isn’t a fan of Friends! Anyway, visiting this building was kinda surreal and so much fun especially seeing other fans geek out too!

THE MET – We spent a whole day wondering around The Met and it still wasn’t enough to see it all. Make sure to plan your visit accordingly giving yourself enough time explore leisurely.

THE PUBLIC LIBRARY – This famous library has been featured on the likes of Sex and The City but beyond that it is absolutely beautiful, steeped in New York history and not to be missed.

GRAND CENTRAL STATION – Lived out all of our Gossip Girl dreams! The station itself is truly remarkable and a hub for so many travellers.

CINEMA – I love American cinemas don’t ask me why, this time round we watched Batman on a dolby screen at The Empire. The seats were full recliner and the most comfortable thing I have ever sat on!

WASHING SQUARE ARCH –  A marble memorial arch located in Washington Square Park, in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood. Experience a whole other side of New York.

Dumbo Brooklyn – This is an amazing neighbourhood that has such a cool vibe, it’s also the perfect place to get away from the chaos that is Manhattan.
