Sticks n’ Sushi

I’d been to the Sticks n’ Sushi in Canary Wharf a few years ago and wanted to check it out again. My sister and I were on King’s Road recently (where they have a branch) and decided to pop in for lunch. The food was just as good as I remembered and the service was great.

The Kensington location is quite large and open with its modern ambience. As soon as we were seated the waitress brought us water and took our order. She was super helpful in recommending items and making us aware of certain ingredients. Our food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering, all freshly prepared and beautifully served. Just before the dishes were brought to the table the waitress gave us hot towels to freshen up with, which was a lovely touch!

We decided to try a variety of dishes and found the portions were generous as well as reasonably priced. We actually ended up having to bring food back with us since we couldn’t finish it all. I have listed below what we ate and enjoyed:

  • Spicy Edamame Beans
  • Seaweed Salad
  • Ebi Bites
  • Ebi Panko Roll
  • Crispy Ebi Roll
  • California Roll
  • Softshell Crab Roll
  • Black Cod Roll
  • Tebasaki Chicken Wings

My favourites were the Ebi Bites and the Black Cod Roll! Anyway, I know this post was short and sweet but the point is I would totally recommend Sticks n’ Sushi! Where is your favourite place to get sushi? Let me know below!
