Last month I came across Disney on ice tickets and being a huge fan, I just couldn’t pass on the opportunity to go see it. I purchased three tickets for my sisters and myself which were in pretty basic seats, but we didn’t care too much about where we sat.

The show was at the o2 which was great since we drove down on the day and parked easily near the arena. When we got passed the barriers, we were told the section our seats were in was closed and we were given new tickets. We were really lucky as these were in the lower block closer to the ice rink which gave us the perfect view. We had originally paid £30 for our tickets but at my estimate, the new ones were at least £100 in value. I’m sure you can imagine our reaction!

The concert lasted 2 hours with a 15minute intermission. It was fast-paced, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Mickey and Minnie Mouse hosted the show introducing all the acts. There was the retelling of some iconic Disney stories as well as perfectly choreographed song performances. We were so impressed with the level of detail that went into each act as well as the sheer talent of the dancers! We couldn’t take our eyes off the rink for even one second.

I didn’t have any expectations before going because in all fairness I didn’t know much about the show however I was so impressed that I would highly recommend it, especially if you have young children. The show we watched is no longer on however there is a ‘Disney on Ice – Magical Ice Festival’ tour happening around March-April time in Wembley, tickets are on sale now!
